Application

The single channel display and evaluation device is conceived for the evaluation and conversion of a analogue input signal into a standarized output signal with 4 relay switching points. The indication of the measurement value is done as an analogue bar and as digital value. The programming of the device happens in plain-text operation by the membrane keyboard in combination with the LCD display or per PC interface by the operation software Gerätemanager GM-400. Due to the possible input of 25 linearization points the digital display and evaluation device can linearly calculate also nonlinear input signals (e.g. from lying cylindrical container).

Function

At the input of the display and evaluation device the analogue signals 0...10V, 0...20mA and 4...20mA can be connected. The supply of the connected devices can be made by the integrated current limited sensor supply 5V/24V.

The measurement signal can be adjusted in a wide range and converted into a galvanically isolated output signal of 0...10V, 0...20mA, 4...20mA, 10...0V, 20...0mA or 20...4mA.

4 relay switching contacts with a respective separately adjustable hysteresis can be assigned to the input and output signal.

Due to the implemented signal linearization (max. 25 control values) it is possible to linearize the input and output signals, e.g. for volume calculation of a conical or cylindrical lying container.

The input signal can be influenced by an integration time of up to 99 seconds, e.g. to suppress signal fluctuations due to mixing machines or at a filling process. 

The display and evaluation device has implemented a tendency evaluation that can be switched on two relays.

All functions and settings can be set by plain-text programming using the LCD display and the keyboard resp. per PC interface in combination with the programming tool GM-400.
