Hood level measurement

Level measurement or height measurement for membrane accumulators, gas bags, supporting air roofs, EPDM hood and pillow accumulators.

Gas level or hood level measurement of gas storage tanks

The measuring principle of height detection is based on hydraulic power transmission.
A pressure transducer is attached to one end of the hose filled with liquid. It detects the pressure that arises when there is a difference in height to the other end of the measuring hose and generates an electrical signal proportional to the height.
The pressure transmitter is usually fitted at the lowest point, the free end of the measuring hose at the top of the object to be measured.

Application

Level measurement or height measurement for membrane accumulators, gas bags, supporting air roofs, EPDM hood and pillow accumulators.

Operating principle

The measuring principle of the height detection is based on a hydraulic power transmission.
A pressure transducer is attached to one end of the hose filled with liquid,
The pressure transmitter detects the resulting pressure at a height difference to the other end of the measuring hose and generates an electrical signal proportional to the height.
The pressure transducer is usually attached at the lowest point, the free measuring hose end at the upper area of the object to be measured.
