Automotive Industry

In 1950, more than 10 million vehicles were produced for the first time, more than a thousand times the number produced in 1900. The turnover of the German automotive industry in 2020 amounted to around 378.2 billion euros. The effects of the Corona pandemic caused a decline of 58 billion euros compared to the previous year.
The majority of revenues were generated abroad in recent years.
