The Flowcont® FN has a wide selection of process connections, nominal sizes and highly resistant linings up to 180°C.
The innovative transducer has a short response time due to its high excitation frequency. Modern filtering methods allow measurement signals and interference signals to be precisely separated.
This enables highly accurate measurement even under difficult conditions. Self-cleaning electrodes with double sealing guarantee high reliability of the flow meter.
Thanks to the grid-reinforced PFA lining, the appliance is vacuum-stable and can be used up to 180°C. Flowcont® FN is the device standard in the process industry. It fulfills the various requirements of NAMUR. Flowcont® FN is the universal device as defined by the Pressure Equipment Directive. In accordance with the requirements of NAMUR, pipelines are rated according to category III. This makes the Flowcont® FN universally applicable. Costs are reduced, safety is increased.

Functional principle
The FLOWCONT flow meter works according to the magnetic inductive measuring principle.
A magnetic field is generated in the measuring tube of the flow meter and the voltage of the electrically conductive liquid is measured via electrodes.
The flow velocity in the pipe is available as an analog output (4 to 20mA), as well as the flow rate as pulses (l / hl / m3).
