Leakage monitoring in liquid manure management

The compact electrode probe PUKK operates as a monitoring device for electrically conductive liquids.

A small alternating voltage is applied to the electrodes of the probe, which triggers a switching process when it comes into contact with conductive medium. Thus, in the event of leaks or water ingress in biogas plants, an alarm can be raised.

Benefits:

  • Reliable monitoring of plant components and electronics rooms against water or liquid ingress.
  • Compact design, evaluation electronics integrated in the probe head
  • AC voltage or DC voltage version available
  • Easy to assemble

Operating principle

The compact electrode probe PUKK works as a monitoring device for electrically conductive liquids.
A small alternating voltage is applied to the electrodes of the probe, which triggers a switching process upon contact with conductive medium. This enables an alarm to be triggered in the event of leaks or water ingress in the system.
