Description
Flood/heavy rain early warning system from ACS Control-System
Sudden, localized heavy rainfall can cause immense damage not only to residential and infrastructure buildings, but also personal injury. It is therefore also important to warn the population in these risk areas of these forces of nature at an early stage with a flood early warning system.
With the Remote data transmission module DLF4 in conjunction with various sensors, such as the Hydrocont HP4 to the Level measurement in rivers and streams, or the Precipitation gauge NR4M, a reliable and customized flood/heavy rain early warning system can be offered by ACS Control-System.
In addition, conventional water level sensors are installed at critical road culverts and bridges. If culverts are blocked or overloaded by debris and floating debris, the backwater is detected by our system and reported without delay.
In combination with a precipitation sensor, the various measured variables and information are used to recognize correlations and send warnings at an early stage. Thanks to this faster response option, alarms can be raised before large-scale flooding of residential areas and infrastructure occurs.
These systems work independently and can therefore be used at any critical point where a measurement task is required.
