Reliable level measurement and monitoring

In what is usually the last station of the wastewater treatment plant, the secondary clarifier plays a decisive role in the hydromechanical density reduction of sludge and effluent water. Metrological monitoring is necessary here, e.g. for monitoring the rotary scrapers and for level measurement. You can rely on the high quality of ACS products.

Functional principle

Continuous level measurement in sewage treatment plants via the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column:
The pressure is measured via a robust and highly accurate ceramic sensor and converted into an analog output signal.
The measurement signal is output via an analog output and can be further processed in the biogas plant’s control system. In addition, up to 4 adjustable limit values can be set to trigger direct control processes from the sensor. An integrated data logger also enables up to 500,000 measured values to be saved and thus the substrate feed of the last few weeks to be analyzed. The measured values can be read out via a Bluetooth interface and processed in Excel.

Non-contact level and volume measurement or flow measurement in sewage treatment plants: The sensor is mounted above the storage tank and measures the fill level without contact using the ultrasonic measuring principle or radar.
