These monitoring devices record the frequency and duration of accumulation and discharge events. Some also determine the volume of overflowing mixed water.
Only properly functioning measuring devices ensure that the data obtained, such as the duration and frequency of the basin backwater, the duration and frequency of the discharge events and the volume of water discharged, are correct and can be used for evaluation. The same applies to reservoir canals.
The water pollution caused by discharges from stormwater tanks in the sewer network and the wastewater treatment plant is often not optimally coordinated. The processes at the wastewater treatment plant are well monitored and recorded.
A good overall efficiency of the unit “stormwater tank, storage sewer and wastewater treatment plant” can only be achieved if sufficient measurement data is also available from the stormwater overflow tanks and storage sewers.

Ideal for documentation and providing evidence to authorities using the data storage function

Functional principle

The basin backwater and overflow activity is largely determined by the throttle discharge. If the throttle discharge is set too low, the basin fills too frequently and downstream basins may fill too rarely – or vice versa. In both cases, the potential of the planned storage effect is not exhausted. The design of the throttle measuring section is therefore of particular importance.
